Btw, HLA and Steam deck got announced 3 days after Valve registered them as a trademark.

edit: Expect…maybe they might denote something during/after the international? I’g pretty sure I read somewhere that Icefrog is working on a hugger-mugger project.

I was only thinking International is going on now. We may find out what this is quite soon

Dorsum in 2018. I’d assume because we had no updates.

Interesting they must exist getting serious about games again

Neon prime number trade mark has been updated and could really be a gamepass or cloud blazon of service from valve

Imagine a cloud service that finally has access to all steam games instead only a selection, would exist really good for steam deck when playing at home, esp for people with small hard bulldoze space and desire more functioning for current gen games

Or even more than they found a fashion to make it work with steam VR for their stand up alone headset

Could valve accept fabricated some kind of deal with google鈥檚 stadia infrastructure to accept it over for a good price? Before they even announced they were shutting it down

It was already running on Linux, could hands be replaced with steam os

This is what I鈥檛housand thinking later on the trademark update

if information technology’south cloud for steam I imagine something like this beingness able to work with valves stand-alone vr head set as well

One-half life alyx at max settings with a wireless headset with no pc

And besides dandy for electric current gen games on the deck when your domicile and not traveling

I’ve wanted Valve to team up with Google or Nvidia to integrate cloud gaming directly into the customer, I’d pay for Steam+. Xbox would probably not be happy with information technology, but maybe Valve makes it opt-out.

I don’t know if this matters but this trademark list is slightly different than for Alyx and Underlords and such that it doesn’t specifically mention “downloadable figurer game software” but just “computer game software” similar to CS:GO. I wonder if that means it might go a physical release, meaning console versions (Yep CS:Go had console versions.)

I am not sure where you all are getting the cloud gaming stuff. It says naught about networking or anything like the Steam Link does.

Read the update at the lesser

Yes, Half Life: Alyx says something like. It took me like two mins of inquiry to compare this filing to previous game filings.

The competition part could mean information technology has a multiplayer angle. Other than that the service stuff ways nothing and is basically only standard for how all Valve game trademarks are made.

Neon prime trade mark has been updated and could actually be a gamepass or cloud type of service from valve

Imagine a cloud service that finally has access to all steam games instead merely a option, would be actually expert for steam deck when playing at dwelling house, esp for people with small hard drive space and want more performance for current gen games

Or fifty-fifty more they found a fashion to make it piece of work with steam VR for their stand alone headset

I could maybe sorta meet it if they had some clever reasoning backside the name. “Neon”, like Steam, is also a gas, and so information technology’due south got that similarity going for it.

Something else potentially relevant from a random Google article:

Roughly 70% of neon produced in the world is used in semiconductor chip manufacturing, and supply concatenation issues might cause large disruptions.

Maybe something to do with their ain “fries” being used to provide some sort of “prime” remote (cloud) gaming service?

I dubiety they would phone call their online service without Valve or Steam branding. Information technology would be incredibly stupid not to take advantage of their brand power.

My first idea is that this is simply related to CSGO Prime…
So logical bet is some CSGO spin off / extension tagged to CSGO Source ii version.
Could always be DOTA related with International going on at the moment.
Would always exist squeamish to see something new from them instead

I’d be hella downward for a Steam-backed game subscription. Not if it’s cloud-based though, which it probably would exist with that proper name…

I’thousand guessing it’s a new IP of sorts, only there’s not much to practise but wait and see.

I guess it isn’t today. Oh well.

Them registering a trademark means it has to be something that’s really going to come out, right? I’d think they wouldn’t do that for something early along enough that information technology might get scrapped.
