aye you tin take iphone 11 in bath or shower Because Its Water Resistance..
Doesn’t thing. Even Apple don’t recommend it due to detergents in soap etc.

I’ve been taking my phones into water since the vii, just I’m in the minority. I don’t actually accept a problem taking the XS Max or xi Pro into h2o, but you should probably consider if you’ve dropped information technology, saturday on it, if y’all can deal with the replacement cost etc.

it’south “supposed to be” water resistant, but there’due south aught guarantee that it will be. So that pretty much means it’s not for intentional dunking.
The water proofness was added to the telephone to (hopefully) protect it against adventitious submersion. Merely the phone definitely wasn’t designed to be used in the h2o.

it’due south “supposed to exist” water resistant,
but there’due south zero guarantee
that information technology will be.
That says it all.
I read somewhere that the water resistance in the iPhones relies on the surface tension of the water. detergents reduce the surface tension of the h2o.

I would leave my phone in the other room or outside and it volition automatically connect to my waterproof speaker I bought from wish. Go for the cheapest bluetooth speaker instead

I’m kind of scared to inquire this, but why would anyone always want to bring their phone into the shower??
to satisfy their needs. Hahaha

If you tin’t stay away from your phone long plenty to take a shower or bath, you need to seek some professional counseling.
I wouldn’t have my $1,000 electronic device near water if it can exist avoided. You lot (and anyone else) shouldn’t either.
You’re placing faith into seals that degrade (bold that they’re correctly installed and operation in the first place), steam that easily defeats h2o proofing mechanisms, and detergents that reduce water surface tension that your phone relies on to continue water out of many openings on the phone.
Across that, there’s no guarantee OR warranty that will cover you when it inevitably fails.
Feel free to what you lot want, but it’s your $1,000+, non mine.

Why do some people nonetheless struggle to understand that h2o
resistant
is not the same matter equally water
proof?

I’m kind of scared to ask this, but why would anyone ever want to bring their phone into the shower??
Music, I know one person who bought an older iPhone 4 and sets it on the shower windowsill to listen to music. (I won’t get into the
other
reasons you’re probably thinking of)

….In the bathroom? There’south no legitimate reason why anyone would want to use an iPhone in the bathtub or shower. You’re asking for bug.
Reading a book on the kindle app, catching up with news, watching something on catch upward/live sports event, listening to music, personal admin etc. There are enough of reasons to apply a device in the bath that are no different to reading a paper book or magazine, for example.
Shower on the other hand, well I don’t become that at all as surely a) no hands costless to employ a phone and b) such a short menstruation of fourth dimension in that location is no need to have a telephone in in that location.

If you can’t stay away from your phone long enough to take a shower or bath, y’all need to seek some professional counseling.
I read books, newspapers and spotter films/shows on my telephone in the bath. Do I demand professional person counselling whereas someone who reads physical newspapers, books and watches Netflix on the tv, does not?
